I am getting bit by the bug and need to vent my thoughts to see if they will work out for me. I will list my planned mods and see if they will be streetable and most importantly give me big power. Cost is not a real issue as i plan to get the parts over time.

Diesel Dynamics Mega Mental Injectors

Diesel Dynamics Performance Camshaft

Diesel Dynamics Pusher Pump Kit

Diesel Dynamics Big Fuel Line Kit

Diesel Dynamics Nitrous Kit

Diesel Dynamics Ultimate Fueling Module

K&N FipkII Air cleaner

Jacobs Vehicle Systems Jake Brake

BD Super "B" Twin Turbos

MBRP T-409 Stainless Steel Turbo-Back DUAL Exhaust System

Muffler Delete Pipe

Fass System

Auto Meter gauges to monitor everything (Boost 0 - 60, Pyro, Fuel Pressure) in a 3 gauge pillar mount

any ideas other than what i have here i am open to all, any better components, etc. I also would like some idea of expected fuel economy, and power levels. I really want 600 hp and 1200 ftlbs torque, if it is over that i am even happier

Most of the twin turbo setups have a larger (5") outlet, so you will probably need a custom downpipe into a 5" system, either a kit or pieced together. Also, figure on at least 12mm studs and o-ring for the head as well as a STOUT clutch.

I had already anticipated a new clutch, i am not sure what brand or even how much horsepower it should be able to handle, i do want to be able to tow anything i want to pull without having to worry about clutch problems. I was remotely considering a full set of 5 inch stacks with tractor trailer style flappers. also how much does it generally run to have the studs put in and o rings installed

Haven't done the head stuff yet myself, not sure of investment.

Lots of VERY satisfied members with South Bend Clutch, including me. My clutch is rated for 550HP, I've seen posts of guys running more than that, but I like the margin of safety. The higher rated clutches are quite a bit more grabby, but that's to be expected when you want more grip!

Sounds like a good combo, just substitute Mach 4 injectors from F1 Diesel for the Mega Mentals. More torque, less smoke.

The K&N won't filter out much dirt. Just go filterless if you need that much air. If you want a filter, run an AFE or Scotty 2 with the UNI element.

The DD cam is great-- much stronger than others on the market.

I'd consider 304 if you want stainless exhaust. 409 rusts, so you might as well just get aluminized and save the $$.

I have no experience with DD's big fuel line kit, but I can say that I am VERY please with my Scotty Smart flow fuel line kit from www.scottyairsystems.com

JMHO, as always.

You won't need the push pump kit with the FASS system. Maybe consider a drag comp. water methanol injection in stead off nitrous ( or both). Southbend clutch should do, Piers has some twin combos that may be better for later upgrades. Stud kit and O-rings to keep the head on.

The DD fuel lines are basically the same as the Scotty (or previously Wildcat) fuel system.

I use a BHAF for daily driving, but I need more air for dyno runs so I go without for a few minutes. For the ease of install and cheap cost of replacement at 20k interval, I haven't been able to justify an AFE or Scotty over the $30 BHAF...

As far as headwork, I think I will go to 12mm studs with my current stock gasket until it goes away, then I'll move up to o-rings when necessary. Seems like 50psi is below the point at which MOST head gaskets give up.
