1. louder than normal "vibration" noise from engine or exhaust (not sure) when I reach speeds 67 - 72 mph.

2. nv5600 clatter/vibration (not grinding) in lower gears on start up with little or no depression of accelerator.

new owner and not sure if this is NORMAL... or if it requires attention.

thanks in advance.

2003 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 Quad SRW, 6 speed manual, STOCK for now.

It worked for me. You can check if has been done by looking for a Big Honkin' Weight (BHW) on the PS hose. Other vibrations have proven to be an issue on some trucks.

2) This is common

Not sure about number one.

I am sure about number two, it's normal gear lash the 56 honey doesn't like being in too tall a gear for a given speed!!!!!.

Mac

thanks for #2... I feel a lot better about it now.

regarding #1... it's not felt (vibration was probably the wrong word)... it's just a noise that sounds like something vibrating out of the norm? and it seems to be more closely related to the speed and not necessarily the rpm.

but I'll check for that big honkin' weight on the PS hose.
