Is this part of the conspiracy against us dieselheads?

Help! Buying a 12 valve (possibly) and I need advice. Hurry!

Think about a new Volkswagen TDI

I was flipping through the channels on a sunday morning around a month ago. For lack of anything better on I watched Thomas the tank engine and friends.

There's an engine on there named ''diesel''. He's mean to all the other tank engines, and evreyone else. In one of the movies, he was actually accused of trying to kill one of the other engines.

Right afterwards there was something on about alternative energy sources and how much pollution our beloved diesels spew.

Why is the mean ugly tank engine named "diesel"? One of my patients tonight told me that her grandson is scared of diesel because he's so mean. That kid is going to hate diesels for the rest of his life now :(

Sure, "Diesel" is cleaner and more cost effective and he gets the snotty attitude!

And what's up with Thomas and his cronies puking coal smoke all over the place! How environmentally sound is that!

I think all the naughty freight cars are why Diesel is troqued off all the time.

(My tinfoil hat blew off a long time ago :-laf :-laf !)

so i see i am not the only one who watches thomas the tank engine eh... [and i have my pvr box set to record all episodes on the treehouse channel]

But I was watching it with my 2 year old daughter yesterday and Diesel saved another engine from falling into a ravine from a broken bridge... The other engines and the conductors were very happy with Diesel. Seriously.

Sure, we believe your 2 year old was in the room with you :D :D :D :D

So in the future people will hate diesels and love steam engines? Steam engines make excellent torque... I'd be willing to drive one. Of couse, my passengers won't enjoy shoveling all that coal.

Diesel 10

My son loves diesel 10. Could be my influence on him.

He has a mean look and uses his shovel as a weapon. :-laf

The great thing is that one od Diesel 10's henchmen is named "Dodge" :-laf

My 6 year old son is obsessed with Thomas And Friends ,trains this ,trains that ,everything is trains :D

I like Gordon the Express Engine He's FAST... . like Dad's CTD :-laf

YeeeHaaaa

http://www.ticketweb.com/thomas.html

My son is 2 1/2 and is also completly obsessed with trains. We have been to many museums, train rides etc but none compared with the thrill of seeing Thomas live and in Person. We have been to "Thomas day" at Strasberg several times, that first time seeing the boy was so excited he was shaking to the sound of the train. That made my life. Take your son if you get a chance, he will love it. :-laf

Thomas would win a smoke contest with any CTD. :-laf

I think it's just a comment by steam train lovers that diesel trains ruined their lifestyle by replacing all the steamies.
