Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Is this the correct part number?

Can anyone tell me if part # 3963983 is the correct number for the sealing washers for the overflow valve on a 94 5. 9? I received washers with this part number today but I cannot get them to go on the new overflow valve. If this is the correct washer, are they supposed to be a super tight fit? Is there a technique to get them to go on?

Did you try "threading" them on? They don't just slip on.



BTW, did your truck have a 6. 9L in it before the repower?

Yes, I did try to thread them on, but I'll try again and see if I can get them on this time. I'm also doing the lift pump and thats no picnic either.



My truck did have the 6. 9L w/Banks turbo but now it feels like it has twice the power with the 94 12V. I'm also getting about 3 mpg better mileage (so far).
