Is your DT track bar aluminum?

I just got mine and saw that it was aluminum. Is that what the are all made off?

Mine's aluminum. Works great too. I've done some serious off roading for an 8000+ lb truck. Just had an alignment done yesterday and the alignment shop was really impressed with the track bar. I gave them the info on where to get them.

Steel DT Track Bars

Well, unless they've come up with a new aluminum alloy that's magnetic, mine's steel. I was pretty sure it was steel based on what I remembered the weight to be, but that was a couple of years ago. I went out and tried a magnet last night...

How long ago did you purchase yours? Is yours shiny or is it black? I do believe that they have changed the design a little. I got mine about 6 months ago.
