GEEZ Yellowlab, after reading your post about how unhappy CA life is... you know, there ARE other ways out of CA. Joining the NAV works... but is a little extreme! Mid rats any better in the "modern" Navy? Need anybody to keep the Cummins warm for your return???

I spent a little time in the IO. I was aboard the "CHUKY V" or Carl Vinson. our motto was FTN, FTC and of course This place S****. In reactor department we had some coffe cups made. Some of the rejected designs were " 1/4 mile island " and the " Mobyl Chrenobyl" Mine has MM1 DILLIGAF. If you are in engineering aboard the chuck maybe you know what "807 baby" means?

Well sorry that I havent been able to post lately, but thats how it goes out here. Im on the good ol Abe Lincoln (CVN 72). Havent been down to the engine room, dont think they would let me touch that baby. We have an internet connection on the ship, mostly for getting email, but occasionally they open it up for getting on the internet. But it is so slow that its usually not worth it. A page like this could take 30 minutes to open up, and it usually times out and wont let open the page. Its not so bad so far, but the fun stuff is yet to come. Thanks for the encouragement, it goes a long way out here! Take it easy guys...
