Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) isolated fuel filter housing from manifold heat

it has been reported that simply unbolting the filter housing from the manifold decreased the FUEL temperature by at least ten degrees.

I made a simple bracket out of a 3/8 inch thick phenalic (resin board) electrical insulating material. I have plenny of material, perhaps I could sell a few if there was any interest. Tomorrow I will heat wrap the canister housing with some self stick foil tape.

I am adding a bosch pusher pump with a regulator and small cooler as well next week to round out my COOL fuel delivery system! 14 psi all the way baby!

Well some people live in areas that get cold and need the heat off the manifold. Another thing is you cant get away from heat as far as the fuel getting hot. Any fuel returned to the tank is going to be hot.
