It's an engine vibration traveling through the nylon boost line. Some people have had success cutting the line and putting in a few inches of rubber hose. Personally I never bothered with it, wasn't loud enough to be annoying.

Where is your boost source?? Sounds like you are getting the boost buzz from getting your boost readings from the plug by the MAP sensor. Drill and tap the intake horn and the buzz will be gone. Using the block mounted plugs will frequently cause the problem.

My Isspro EV 0-60 has a rattle or buzz when the needle swings up from 12 to 20 PSI. The noise I have does not depend on RPM, although I will pay more attention to that. I bought my gages from PDR in April and I finally got around to telling them about this. They are sending me a new gauge.

Isspro boost gauge rattle

I get the same rattle once in a while from my Isspro Boost gauge. It's just barely noticable, doesn't bother me enough to warrent drilling my intake horn. Had enough fun drilling the exhaust manifold.

I do find the gauge to be overly bright however. Yes they're on the dimmer, but that doesn't help the problem that they are still brighter than the dash at any setting. And while I'm peevin', the convex lens - now there's a bright idea. So bright, it catches reflections at any angle, therefore not recommended. Oh well, live an learn. But the gauges work so I can't complain too much.
