Just got my turbo temp monitor and was going to install, using my pryo leads from existing setup. My pyro thermocouple is installed pre turbo. The first paragraph on the instructions says to install, using K type thermo installed in exh pipeAFTER the turbo!! Naturally, they are closed o n Saturday so can' check with them to clarify this. Anyone ever installed one , using your existing pyro, pre turbo. Thank. s

I have one. Shutdown is supposed to be 300* post-turbo. You will get to 300* pre-turbo well before 300* post-turbo (I have a probe pre and post). The idea of measuring after the turbo is to tell how hot the turbo actually is. You want the turbo cool enough so that the oil in the bearings doesn't cook after shut down.
