Has anyone with an older Isspro EGT gauge(the ones DD use to sell)had the problem with the gauge reading lower readings than normal?

The gauge started reading about 100 degrees lower at all speeds an power than normal.

I have checked the connections and cleaned the probe. No Help!

I don't know if this will help as my guages are different, but I had a probe problem and read the wires out and read the guage out with a Ohm meter then called the company and had them read out a new one and decided that it was a bad probe, even if I had paid for it a new probe was just $30. 00.

Mine does this sometimes. I know you said you checked the connections, and when I check mine they are always tight. However, if I lossen and retighten, everything is fine for several months.

I need to cut the connectors off and just solder everything back together. I suspect that would fix my problem.

Good luck, Ronnie

Mine also turned out to be the thermocouple. The gauge heads themselves can be tested.

-- Check the connections first

-- Test the gauge second ( Piers did mine )

-- Replaced thermocouple third.
