ISSPRO Emergency Shutdown Module

Has anyone tried the ISSPRO emergency shutdown module available from DIS? The unit monitors for low oil pressure, low coolant level, or high coolant temperature. If either trigger the setpoint, the engine will shutdown in either 15 or 30 seconds, depending on the model you order. It would be a great safety feature to our trucks. The big rigs have these as well. What are other's thoughts? How much?

We used to use a similar system on the American DieseLectric (railroad type) Yard Cranes back in the late 50's & 60's. If they overheated or lost lube oil pressure, they would shut down. This was no problem for us, because we didn't have to worry about getting run over by some dude running 80 MPH down the track, but, how does one get out of the way of a 80,000 lb, 18 wheeler on the on ramp of the Interstate if your Ram conks?? Just wondering??

Methinks that I would prefer a warning light and buzzer set-up. (may-be?)

I have to agree with RamRunner. I wouldn't want my rig to shut down in any situation. I want full control, right or wrong.

They don't immediately shut down the engine. ISSPRO offers either a 15 second or 30 second delay before they shutdown, depending on the model you order. A warning buzzer also goes off. This would probably be best for hot shot owners, where someone else drives their trucks.
