The older I get, the harder it is for me to see things in dim light. I thought the EVs would do the trick... ... ... they did! I can now see my guages at night.

The problem I now have is daytime. The face of the guage is convexed(I hope this is the word for "bubble faced") It picks up glare from EVERYWHERE! I can see my own reflection in the face of the guage.

I guess there are trade offs to everything... ... ... ... ... .

The EV series gages that I have are nice. The biggest issue I have is the Pryo gage is not as easy too read at night when illuminated. The Boost and FP gages are bright but the Pyro is significantly dim. I have emailed ISSPRO but no response, surprise surprise.

Has anyone noticed the same issue with the ISSPRO EV white faced gage Pyro?

Where are yours mounted Barry?

I have a little glare from mine, but barely noticable.

Mine are mounted in the middle of the dash.

bezel glare

Barry,

I too think the convex bezel is a design flaw.

When I first got the gauges, it really annoyed me. I found myself looking at my reflection. After a while, I started looking past the bezel and started looking at the gauge face. Now I have to make an effort to see my reflection. I guess it's just a matter of focus.

Think of the convex bezel as a novelty feature. When the novelty wears off, you won't notice it any more.

I don't have glare coming off my Isspro Ev's either, maybe its just getting them (or you) at the right angle to have it happen? Either that, or just roll the windows down, and give em' a good coat of Texas dust:-laf - that should do the trick.

I have EXACTLY the same prob you have w/my Isspro EGT and transmission gauges as my Boost & FP gauges are VERY bright at night, and the other two gauges are very dim. I thought I screwed up my wiring, but now I know its not just me. Did you come up w/any solution on your own or from Isspro??? Lemme know

TIA

just installed isspro evs. white face, pyro ,boost. pillar mt. no glare at all nite or day. nite lites on both gauges are bright and even.
