Is there really supposed to be such a difference in the manifold (boost) pressure gauge and the pyro illuminations?

My manifold gauge is twice as bright as the twin bulbed pyro.

Both gauges appear to be the EV series.

Any thoughts?

there is probably not suppose to be a difference in light output, but sometimes there is. you could try putting in a lower wattage bulb in the boost, or put a resistor [fixed or variable] in series with the bulb to adjust the illumination level to match each other

All three of mine are the same level of brightness, do you have them wired so that you can use the dimmer switch.

TJ

I hope you find a good fix. Mine are the same way, can't see the pyro unless I turn the dash lights to full bright, then the rest are too bright.

Really? I have 3-pyro, boost, and fuel pressure-they are all pretty much even output-wise. Colors between the 3 are whacked out-that's the installer's fault :) not Isspro's.

Sorry you guys' don't match up-have you tried a bulb swap on the single-bulbed models to see if you can even things out a little?

Jason

I've found out that some of the twin bulbed units can be dim, but I noticed that some of them need a slightly more clockwise twist to seat the bulbs into the gauge than one would originally think. Otherwise, the colored pyrometer will seem darker just because it's a colored face.

GAmes - you got it.

Will try a lower wattage bulb in the boost or a double condom.

There is way too much light with the single bulb(194?)

If you have the two lights wired in series they will be dimmer. All of the bulbs should be wired in parrallel. I have mine wired like this and they are perfect, even follow the dash closely for brightness.

Nope

That's not it, but it may help me correct the brightness. I think it is a gauge or bulb size problem. I can distinctly see the bulb shape. . thats how much brighter than the dash lights it is! All others match the dash.....

IsoPro Bulb Covers

I had bright light too! I have the dimmer switch wired in too!, but I added the green bulb covers IspPro makes and it tone the light down closer to the intensity of the Color Face Pyro. The color more pale green that the bluegreen of the dash, but it a lot better than bright white.

-- email address removed -- has the covers.
