I need a vacuum gauge with a drag pointer

I have a problem with my new EVII fuel pressure gauge. I have it installed on my 2001 Dodge 2500 5. 9 Cummins. Its in the little hole on the right side of the dash and I am using the Geno's mounting plate for it. I am using a Vulcan fuel hose and have the gauge sender installed on the end of that hose. The gauge fluctuates a little bit as per the instructions. It has worked fine now for about 3 weeks, but this past week it started showing higher and higher pressures on through the week til Thursday it went full against the needle at 40 PSI and stays right there til I turn the key off. I put a pressure test gauge on it Saturday night and the FASS is pumping perfectly at 19 PSI. It doesan't fluctuate on the test gauge. Can anyone help me or give me some guess as to what this might be? Thanks for any replies.

I have been wondering if a needle valve or snubber is required with these gauges. Mine has a little tick to it. At idle is sits at 16lbs and jumps up or down about a pound or two even running down the road it does it. If I get on it hard it will drop from 16lbs to about 8lbs then jump back to what I normaly see.

With the use of any electric fuel system(i. e-FASS,Walbro,AirDog,etc etc)there is no snubber needed in a fuel pressure line.

I would second the sender going bad... ... ... Andy

SHobbs, yours sounds exactly what mine "normally" was doing. Now of course my gauge is pegged out. I'll call Isspro. I hear the customer service is great.
