How do those that have these gauges like them? I'm looking at the Boost 0-40, Pyro 0-1500, Fuel Pressure,(0-30psi?) and Trans gauges. It'd be the EV or the Marine style. Leaning toward the Marine because it looks cool when lighted. Have there been any problems? What additional parts should I be looking at ordering with these gauges? Mounting on the pillar.

Waiting for year-end bonus??

Thanks

Paul

All good except the boost gauge you get should read up to at least 50. A little bombing and you will hit 40 boost in short order.

I just got the EVs and love them I haven't had them to long so I havent had any probs. I have the originals in my PSD and the EVs are allot better to read much britter get a 50 I made the mistake of getting the 40 and peg it nowif you get the oil press you need to extend it but it is not hard all other eqitment came with them I got mine from DIS in Lubbock

The New Isspro EV line are cool. Especially the white faced/Chrome bezel. They have 30 & 60 psi "Turbo Boost" gauges and 40 psi "Manifold pressure". I have them in stock so call me if you want a quote. Thx Kurt 505-534-0434

The gages work great, but my pyro has the colored background and is mounted as the top gage on my column, At night the light shines around the edge of the gage right into my eyes and can be somewhat irritating. Don't mount that type of gage too high. A 2nd gen may be different than my 1st though. Good luck.

It sounds like you have last years style. The new ones are lit thru the face. I will hook up and take/post a pic of the colored face EGt in a day or two.

Unless you are sure that you'll be BOMBing your engine go with the 30-35 boost gauges... if you don't BOMB and have a 50-60 gauge you'll be bored out of your mind with how little the gauge moves! I know because I was... I took everyones advice and stepped up to the 50, but was so bored watching it I had to replace it with a 35... and no I don't plan any major BOMBing till after the warranty is done, but just couldn't watch the inactive 50 that long!!!!

They (isspro) do make a 0-30 psi Turbo Boost, 0-60 psi Turbo Boost & 0-40 psi Manifold Pressure (Same thing as Turbo Boost) I kinda agree bschmidt about using the full range of the gauge but I started with a 30psi gauge and ended up buying a 40 psi two weeks later because I added the 275RV injectors to the PE-EZ fueling box. Two months later I traded up to the PE-COMP box and guess what I had to but a higher reading boost gauge. So this time I went up 20 psi to a 60 Psi gauge. So to make a long post even longer. I would start with at least a 0-40 if you don't plan on Bombing much or just save time installing and Money by just starting with a 0-50 or 0-60. Kurt

Thanks for all the replies on this subject. Kurt are the pictures you posted of the regular EV gauges or are they the Marine EV? I'll try and contact you PM or by phone with some questions and what your thoughts might be on location of installation.

Thanks again

Paul

Kurt..... What are the numbers for the two gauges you added?

50psi boost and 1500 degree Pyro?

Stick with what you have listed above. Most of us will be using HX-35 turbos and if you run over 40#s of boost you will be creating more heat and less power. Unless you go with a larger turbo you will be fine. I have the new EV series Isspro gauges and they work great. Sam

Isspro's new EV gauges look top-rate in my book and if they were available a couple years ago I would have picked them over the Autometers I have now.

What I wish though is for Isspro to come out with fuel pressure and temperature gauges to match. I called Isspro and asked them about this and they talked like there wouldn't be anything coming out anytime soon :( . I have a 3-gauge dash pod so it would look kinda funny to have boost/pyro EV gauges and an oddball fuel pressure gauge.

Put a Stewart-Warner fuel pressure gauge in the ash tray. (Stealth) Oo. Oo. :D :D It won't have to match anything.
