Last week I ordered 1 of each of their "catalogs" since I am interested in the EV Marine series of gauges... ... until Autometer decides when they will make the gauges I need in the Cobalt series.

I requested the stuff via their website..... they were out of one of them and are in the process of having a "single" catalog that contains everything made. I was sent an email telling me this and asking if I wanted one when they were done, in the mean time they said they would send me what they have.

Well its already here! I thought that was pretty quick! I am still waiting on my NOS and Nitrous Express catalogs. :(

Mile,

I Have been researching such as you. EV still in the forefront for myself. Your thoughts? Auto meter is really good too. know of folks in NHRA whom swear by the darn things..... to the point of kissin the tach on a winning run :--)

redneckdr gave advice on my post about painless install and good info from others on the bulb color choices. .

rattle ya later,

I run AutoMeters now and I like them. I am just wanting to try something different, I like the looks of the Marine EV's is all. Not 100% sure I wanna slap a set on yet... .

But as soon as the AutoMeter Cobalts come out in the gauges I need (will be a while) I'll immediatly go to the Cobalts.

I have the AutoMeter triple gauge dash pod... ... its up on the dash and fits real nice... looks factory. MO state trooper asked me if they were factory when I had a nice chat with him the other day on my way to the track ;)

Since you said A-pod... I am assuming you mean the A pillar mount? I don't have that one... . yet ;)

Kat,

Yes, A-pillar mount, sorry for the confusion. Sorry I start to rattle on, and lose control of my finger guidance system :D

I bought Isspro because at the time they were the only game in town. (Gee, how things change in 4 years!)

Episode 1): I called and asked if it was possible to remove the face and paint the needle on my trans gauge red to match the rest (bought at different times, places). The guy I spoke to asked if it was in good shape, it was, he said "send it back, we'll send you one with a red needle". They did, no charge.

Episode 2): I called because my temp gauge sender quit after a year and a half. The guy on the phone says "no problem, I have more. "

I said "that has a 2 year warrantee, right?"

He says "yup, when did you buy it?" I told him. Then he saya "What's your address?"

I WILL be buying a set of EV's as soon as the wallet recovers from the current beating!

I bought mine from Diesel Injection Service and installed them last weekend. I got the EV'S pyro and boost and installed in the piller mount. WAY COOL:p

The install went good and the gauges look as if they belong. I will be iinstalling my #11 plate and AFC spring kit this weekend.
