I know this has been beat to death!! I am trying to do the right thing. Would you buy there gauges again? I want pryo/boost to match as close as factory(looks and lighting)Any help would be great. I can't make my mind up. I talk to ISSPRO about the new one's they are making R6710 boost 0-40,but the pryo gauge won't be ready till march or april!Buy now or wait??

wait till you can get them to match... I had ISSPRO, but took them off and sold them, they were unwilling to work things out with me and several others as far as improving the night visibility of their 50psi gauges. Lack of customer support on that issue. I went to AutoMeter SportComps, got one of the 50psi custom order boost gauges (thanks to KatDiesel & Ted Jannetty) and a EGT & fuel pressure to match... cost was well over $400 for all, plus the 3 gauge/tweeter pillar mount, but the gauges are high quality, visible at night, and Summit Racing's customer support is absolutely fantastic. Other than the lighting problem, I wasn't disappointed with ISSPRO quality, it's worth what you pay for them...
Do you have to have analog gauges? Would you be interested in digital? 2 of my buddies have SPA digital gauges, it's a single gauge with both boost and EGT shown on one gauge, with quite a few electronic wizardry options thrown in(the same gauge can be used with a switch panel and various sending units to monitor other engine pressures and temperatures) I love my AutoMeter gauges, but those SPA gauges are truly state of the art. You can get one from HVAC at Performance Diesel, and some mighty fine customer service, for roughly what you'd have to pay for the new ISSPRO, maybe a little more. Email him and ask !

I've got the ISSPRO EGT and 0-50 boost gauges. I bought them because they match the factory dash, however, as Brair mention the lighting is poor. The EGT gauage is bright and the Boost is dim. So what I did, I colored the bulbs with a "red" permament marker. . The red glow from gauges cut the glare in your face I had before and looks kinda cool at night. . Unless ISSPRO changes their gauges, I'll probably go with the Autometer as replacements... . My $. 02 worth

I have the DiPricol gauges from TST, who also sells the Isspro. They recommended the DiPricols over the Isspro because of complaints about the lighting. I am only relating what TST told me, I have never personally seen an Isspro gauge. I would buy DiPricols again, but you can't go wrong with AutoMeter either, they are top quality. I had them in my '57 Corvette.

I to have the Isspro guages and can say that the lighting on them stinks. Each guage seems to have its own brightness which stinks. Get em if you only drive during the day!! #ad
Quality and accuracy are good, I think. All my temps and boost readings are within the ranges of most members.

I have the isspro guages and have to say that the boost is a bit more dim than the pyro. No big deal though as I will go with brighter bulbs if it starts to bug me. I don't think it is worth selling them (for me,anyway) d/t a bulb not being bright enough. The guages work well and are in most big rigs you see on the road today. Hmmm, they must work!

It's your money, have fun buying them. (hopefully with no regrets #ad

gauges for three years now. (EGT, Trans.
Temp. and Boost). I too have had very
good luck with them and have never had
the "low light" problem everyone else
has experienced and I do ALOT of night
driving. I guess mine have the "brighter"
bulbs. As I have said before I still
think gauges are a "personal choice"
thing. However, there are ALOT of other
good gauges out there too.

At the recent "Scheid Diesel" Rally in
September, I looked at the "Pro Comp"
gauges in Tom Meers 2000 Dodge 4X4 Dually.
They have white backgrounds with black
letters and I must say they looked good!

I said Tom ("Briar Hopper") had the
"Pro Comp" gauges. They are "Auto

Those of you that feel the egt gauge is to bright should change the stock lamp to a 24v lamp (GE#656). I discovered this information here > http://www.dieselpage.com/gipu.htm see the notes section at the bottom.

Just ordered ISSPRO pyro, boost, trany temp. also pillar mount. would appreciate any good advice on installation, especially the pyro.

Got the ISSPRO meters, everything installed okay except have not done the transmission Temp. pickup yet, have to cut the line.
I think the ISSpro are good quality, checked the pyro with a calibrated medical pyro, right on at 600 deg F. mounted preturbo, boost drilled and tapped behind the fuel filter (have PrimLoc). Have the 3 meters on A Pillar mount. looks good.
