Got my gauges last week, and started installing them. Got the Boost, EGT, and Fuel Pressure done. But I'm wondering about the transmission temp sensor. It doesn't appear to be long enough to reach from the inside of the cab down to the transmission. I'm going to install it in the pan, until I get a new line to put it in the hot line. The ISSPro unit has quick connects on the wires for the sensor, I'm thinking about just cutting these off and running as much wire as I need to reach the pan.

I installed the boxes that come with the EGT and transmission temp on the inside of the cab, up under the dash by the grommet I ran all the wires through, where the clutch would normally run.

Just wondering if anyone else had similar problems???

Thanks,

Craig...

I use a westach transmission temp guage and sender. Its no big deal to lengthen the hook up wire, just try to keep a constant gauge wire. solder the connection and you will be fine.
