Thinking of putting this in my truck. It doesnt look like it has provisions to shut the truck down if it's put in gear (like if somebody smashes my window and drives off). Anybody have one in their truck that can clue me in?

I've had one now for a coupla' years... worked fine at first, then worked when it wanted too... contacted Isspro about troubleshooting, and they never got back to me... get a BD... and why would you park the truck with it in gear ?

not parking the truck in gear. What i meant is, if somebody breaks into the truck while it's cooling down, is there anything in place to keep them from driving away in the truck.

And also because the thief will press the brake pedal when he gets ready to put it in gear. With the BD, if wired according to directions, pressing the brake pedal will kill the engine immediately. Not sure about the ISSPRO though.

RankRam is right... you put the truck in park, pull the key from the ign switch, lock the door, and you are done... the engine stays running 'till it gets to the pre-set temp, then it shuts off... if the thief brakes the window while you are walking away, he can't get it out of Park, or turn the wheel... it's pretty simple setup... just wish it had some life to it... . My Isspro has no provision for any brake switch kill... Diesel Manor sells the Isspro, but if you don't buy it from them, they say on their site that they won't help you with any problems... buy one that has a good service policy. .
