Issue 25 and Cracked Flex Plates

Could someone help me out w/ an article from Issue 25. It discusses a "inexpensive fix" to a cracked flex plate.



Our 1 ton duelly just cracked hers, I think, its loud knock at idle. Bill K. said that's probably what it is.



Any help w/ the above article, what it discusses etc... , would be very much appreciated.
