Tripple Turbo Dodge

Great issue so far... . still readin... only prob is, did anyone notice that the truck on the cover isn't a diesel? I'm basing it off of the tail pipe size and lack of badges on the fender..... v10 or hemi possibly... . or maybe i'm just seein **** but still... . just onew of my observations, let the :-{} begin lol :p

I'll confirm. It is a gas engine truck. The photograph was provided by Dodge. It is a great shot of a 2500. We don't often get this good of a photograph, so we chose to publish it. You'll notice no Cummins C and the exhaust isn't diesel. But it is a great shot of the Dodge body. Hope you'll agree.

me too!!! took it out of the mailbox and noticed it in a few seconds... there is no antenna on it as well... looks airbrushed out.

... probably part of that body hair removal trend.

What's next, a pierced pink truck?

Lesson learned?. No gas trucks on a site dedicated to Diesels. It is a nice looking truck... but we are here to celebrate our oil burners. :p

I did not notice it. Well its time to got get the mag. and read some more. But I am working today. Well thats one of the advantages of working this kind of a job and getting paid for it too. :D

The photo is a DC press photo. Also, If you look ever at photo's in a dealers sales brochure the vehicles never have antenna's, it's not aesthetically pleasing.

I must admit that I am a little stunned that a magazine/club dedicated to Cummins/Dodge turbo diesel trucks would knowingly put a gasser on the cover. Not good judgement on TDR's part. I would rather look at a lower-quality image of a diesel than a nice image of a gasser. If nothing else, take a photo from one of the many pictures submitted by subscribers. I take it as a bit of an insult that a publiciation that I pay for tries to sneek one past its readers. What a joke.

Just my opinion. Thanks.

Really don't want to get involved in a "tempest in a teapot" - but with all the neat trucks owned by TDR members, seems like one of THOSE could be used on each cover - shucks, with advance notice, I'm sure many of them would feel honored to supply a publication quality photo...

I'm keeping my copy in the plastic cover. Hopefully it'll become a collector's item, eh ?... I'll certainly be surprised if we ever see a gasser on the cover again. No big deal to me. It's what is INSIDE that counts.

Wait a minute. . how am I going to read it ?...
