I am trying to get ready for my next stages of mods and I awear I'm going around in circles. the short list is exhaust, turbo and a Exhaust brake. I want a good towing turbo yet want ti to have the balls to get me in the 650+hp mark. I realy don't want to go to twins but thats where I may end up. Heres where it gets to be a pain in the rear. depending on what turbo I get it may change my plans to get a PacBrake direct mount. and then on top of all of that what exaust system will work with out to much trouble and at what hp level do you need 5" over 4" and I wount even go in to my indecision on what company I should go with for my transmission :eek:
 
Its worth it. PDR charged me $890. 00 including parts to install the cam and had it done in just over a day, but they do them all the time. The quick spool up on the turbo is great and its supposed tobe good for 1-3 mpg too.

I got quoted 11 hours at $100/hr plus the cam locally.
 
That price was plus the cam BTW... ... I just had it done last week while I was in Langley and I'm only in Victoria now but I could very easily feel the difference, especially with truck loaded with the camper and trailer. Tomorrow I'm crossing on the ferry to Port Angeles and making my way to the north Oregon coast then east and back up to Alberta. Should be a good test for its performance. Once I'm unloaded back at home I'll be able to tell better of the milage increases.
 
Marc, Have you noticed EGTs have dropped since doing the cam? That was one thing I was hoping to see from it. A cam is next on my list!
