Just installed the EZ on my truck and it does add to the fun factor. However, it creates another problem. My clutch now slips. Here I thought I was done spending money on the truck for awhile. Guess I better track down the number for South Bend Clutch. Anyone have a clutch recommendation? I want a smooth stock feeling clutch that can handle the EZ and possible 275 injectors down the road.

Thanks,

and you guys laugh at the auto transmission

how can just an EZ cause the stock clutch to slip?

There must be other factors

Shhhh Bob, That what Ray had to tell his wife in order to justify the new southbend. You know how that goes don't you ?:D :D

I have an ETH/DEE clutch core that I have been meaning to send to SBC if you need it before I do... ... ... ... ... ..... just replace it with the one you take out of your truck.

Ray, see my sig for my BOMBs. My South Bend Con 01 FE clutch held 368 HP/790 TQ on the dyno a month ago and has *never* slipped yet. I dream of someday making enough horsepower/torque to make it slip, but maybe this clutch can handle all I can ever give it

It is certainly one excellent clutch!!

Expecting too much?

The only time I notice the clutch slip is when I get on it in 5th gear going up a hill, it seems to hold fine in 6th gear. Is this the clutch slipping or possibly another problem? The feeling is that of the rear wheels spining. When this happens you loose forward power for a second until you let off the throttle. I'm assuming this is the clutch slipping? BTW... . this EZ is a blast, thanks again Fred. I'll be calling you about a clutch.

What do you guys think?
