Well I talked to the dealer today, was going to cancel my order and wait for 04, Was going to have someone pull my trailer to next work site for me! But, my truck I ordered has a vin # so has been born! Ship date is 5/20 if paint isn't messed up from Mexico!

Am Exited about it's arrival !

Good News & some Bad News

Congratulations!

I personally believe that DC is past the paint problem by now! The reason I say this is because I closely tracked my truck from when DC said it was scheduled to be built, released for shipment and during it's trip on the rail car. All of the "scheduled dates" ended up being the "actual dates" for my CTD. This tells me they have things back on schedule and the paint is a non-issue. For your reference my truck was built in the Saltillo Plant after it's 5/2 "released for production" date and it's 5/8 "released for shipment" date. It left the Plant just as scheduled on 5/8 and arrived at the destination UPRR yard this last Monday, 5/19.

It's too bad the Auto Transport Company, Hadley Auto Transport  , doesn't care about giving good customer service! My CTD has been sitting in their yard for almost a week now and my dealer doesn't seem to care, and no one can tell me when it will be trucked the last 65 miles to the dealership. When I complained about not receiving any status information post UP railroad, the Dealer finally called Hadley. They acknowledged that they have the truck and said, "we don't know when it's scheduled to be transported" and "we will move it when we get around to it"!

To say the least, I am not a happy camper! I could understand if I was buying a sack of beans. But this is a big ticket sale. You would think DC would demand better service from their vendors! I am begining to feel that just because I ordered a vehicle, I am a second class citizen and they can make me wait. I thought sales people liked to make sales! This is NOT a good way to start a long relationship!

JFirebaugh,

I understand your frustration! It's seems that alot of people don't care unless it affects them. I bet if you told the dealer you were going to cancel the order they would send someone there to pick your truck up! I sure hope it right when you get it! It sounds like it's equiped like mine except color and bedliner. I will get the bed sprayed as soon as I get mine. I liked it really well on my 2500 and probably will always spray the beds then I will put a roll an lock cover on it. Good luck on your truck
