:) :) :) After lurking for a year, I ordered my truck the end of Nov and have been waiting patiently... sort of!

It was built the first of the year shipped on 01/03/02 and arrivied @ the dealer today! :D :D

YES! Thank You Lord!

2002 3500 6 spd HO 4x4

Loaded except leather. Brake controller on its way, guages, 5th wheel hitch and exhaust brake to go.

Mates to a 2002 Montana 2955RL.

This is a great web site and each of you have helped me make my decisions. Thanks to everyone. :p

Congrats on the truck!

Sure seems like those of us who lurk around here for a while end up with new trucks... Enjoy your beast

Welcome aboard

You just thought you stopped buying things after you signed the note! Now you get to buy all of the stuff that makes your rig REAL fun. :D

eweber-

Huge congrats on your new baby! I know when I got mine, if I wasn't driving it, I was standing in the driveway looking at it, or looking at this website figuring out ways to make it better. Two years later, I still do much of the same.

A word of caution: Since you're in OC, a place where I spend a lot of time, and hope to be moving back to soon, be very careful where and how you park that beast. The folks in old OC are not used to parking near big trucks, and I swear the parking spaces are narrower there. When I'm in town, I park way out in the boonies away from as many people as possible. I also back into spaces whenever possible. It hasn't stopped me from picking up a few scratches, but I'm sure I've prevented some.

Enjoy the noise-

Reggie

eweber, congrats on the new truck and trailer!!! That must be quite a rig when it is hooked up and brand new from tip to tail. Good luck and happy traveling.

Mine shipped the 7th of this Month and I HOPE it will be here tomorrow, next Monday would be two weeks shipping for me, gosh darn I am anxinous. Yep, i spent about 10 months lurking around also, then signed up about 3 months back.

I just recieved the sevice manual today, the floor mats yesterday, the jordan brake controler the day before and today i ordered two cases of oil filters, a case of fuel filters, and a BHAF. Also have a FatKnob shifter handle for it and 2 cases of Delo.

I am ready to GO!

Can't wait to get the BD engine brake.

I have bought, (and ordered) several new vehicles before, but this one has me waiting like a kid waiting for Christmas to come!

UPDATE, just recieved word that the truck will be arriving within hours of drop ship dealer 29 miles from home!

Congratulations Erick,

I remember when I took delivery on my 94. It was on Christmas eve 1993! I still enjoy getting in and pushing on the go pedal! It has been a great truck, and is just getting broke in at 137,000 miles.

You have the last year they sound like a truck. The new ones will NOT sound the same. The new ones many NOT be BOMBable. I am glad I ordered my 2001. 5 when I did. Next I have to convince the wife I really need to order that Viper... .
