Hi, I'm Bob Dole. I wanted to talk to you about..... Well, not exactly like that. Yesterday (HOT!!) I went to cool off with the A/C, and found that the compressor clutch didn't want to engage. No A/C. The relay checked out OK. The low pressure switch on top of the accumulator worked. I was starting to get very frustrated. Then I opened up the big shop manual and went to some of the wiring diagrams that included the A/C system. One of them showed the A/C clutch relay in the same circuit as the horn. Sure enough, the horn wouldn't work either. Checking the horn fuse (20Amp) found that it had melted and opened the circuit for the horn AND the A/C clutch. New fuse = horn AND A/C. Just another example of the wise words that many before have said (typed?): SPEND THE MONEY AND BUY THE BIG SHOP MANUAL! It will help you fix a lot of stuff that you might have otherwise paid a shop to fix.
