A friend call last night and asked me if I'd like to use my truck for which it was intended. You'd have to understand, I keep a tidy ship. You won't find me throwing firewood, sand & gravel in the bed of MY truck, nor do I go off-road. I'ts armerall-ed regularly
At any rate, I asked "what pray tell do you have in store?" It seemed he needed an extra hand with the day's milk run. Luck would have it that I decided to cut the grass yesterday evening instead of washing my trusty mount.
Well,,,,,,,,, I was concerned with having to run all those dusty dirt roads, but what really scared me was the weight of the payload. You see he runs a milk cartage for the local Amish. You know, the horse/buggy/no electric kinda people. Well, he wants me to travel to six Amish farms and load up with all these 100# milk cans!
So off I go! Didn't spill the milk
I must say,,,,,, I was surprised to see that with a bed full of 100lb milk cans the old girl wasn't even showing any signs of squatting!
Twas fun
Sounded REAL GOOD pulling the hills with a load on 'er
