Actually, they do! Last time I dynoed mine (gotta love job perks!), I laid down 375hp with the stock turbo. Funny... ... nobody wanted to challenge!

A buddy of mine here has that... But it was a joke at work, some one got in his truck, put the sticker up.

there is this idiot around my house that has a 12v long bed dodge/cummins that has an International symbol on each back window, i guess he could work there but it still doesnt make sense to me.

Yah, but I have to agree with the John Deere farmer statements. I love going to the mall and seeing kids in hot topic with John Deere hats on. They don't even have a clue what a tractor is, let alone John Deere itself!

Do know what kind of egts you hit and is this with the stock housing?

The sad thing is that they are actually wearing John Deere stuff to begin with. My Dad once told me that there are more antique JD tractors out there because they built them 25 years longer than anyone else! :-laf

I've seen that a few times as well and figured it's a truck driver or equipment operator.

heycat might be an opposing company but they are good diesels maybe even better then cummins at least the older ones w/ mech fuel injection i still want a cummins tho cats are slow motors cummins are faster as for the john deere i work at a feed store hauling hay and we train horses i don't wear john deere mostly cause i don't have any but i always laugh when i see other kids my age wearing them and it looks so stupid to see a jd hat turned sideways and a tee shirt thats big and baggy to go w/ the jeans i know those wanna be's have probably never seen a tractor or know what it is

I used to run Cat diesel mudflaps on my dodge CTD. I did that cause we farm with Cat power and I was working at the Deere Dealer at the time. :-{} I even had guys ask me a truck pulls if my truck had a 3208 in it. I have worked for Cat dealers now since 97. They don't use any dodge trucks, everything for the most part anymore is P-jokes cause of the Injectors designed by Cat. I was really worried when they were ordering new service trucks, cause they were talking F550 with 6. no and Torqueshifts  . I'm glad they opted for the F650 and C7 power and spicer 7 speeds. Sounds good with no muffler, and 5 inch pipe. I was hopin maybe mine would come with a little 5. 9 in it and I'd know how to make it run. :D

Tell me about it

Heck, you should hear what people say when you work for Cat and drive a ctd!

I get that crap all the time. Fact is we don't build an engine or have a market for a pickup application. C7 is a little too big, and the C6. 6 is not designed for pickup truck use. Maybe someday.

Its funny, the first cat shop I worked at there was usually 3-4 CTD's on the lot when I worked there, and I know there is more now. I never got crap about driving a cummins truck. I caught more heck working at the Deere dealer and driving my dad's Cat in the evening.

Sorry JC lawnmowers dont count.

Im about to ask the next college kit thats running a green JD cap how many acres and head he has. Heck Id set my own trend of "WHITE" pretty sure the kiddies wont know that equipment!!

heck they are better off driving there dads ford with the JD plate on the front, straight from the suburbs. then sucking soot from a CTD Oo.
