lost #4 ex valve seat and ruined piston, but didnt hurt cylinder wall, i almost have the engine out now, i will buy stock common rail pistons and have them fly cut and ceramic coated, haisley machine wants to build my cylinder head, with 60 lb springs, i want to run a helix cam, all of the pistons were really clean but heat has taken its toll so i will replace them, will it be worth it to balance and blue print, the engine only has about 65,000 miles on it, i am open for expierienced sugestions, positive or negative, if you know of a better combo let me know!!!

a little off subject, but does anyone make aftermarket pistons for the Common Rails yet?

your buildup sounds great! I will probably run a Helix 2 cam/springs eventually.

any pics of your progress?

there are several companies making these 3rd gen pistons, also what egt range were you running in? was it from sled pulling or draggin?
