After doing some more tuning, and adding a Diesel Dynamics HX40 turbo Thursday night, I hit 400hp! Friday afternoon I made two dyno runs at the Dog Days of Summer event put on by Bully Dog. The first run was 449hp, and the second was 450hp on the Mustang dyno. I think that the first numbers (Dynojet) are a little more realistic.

No fuel or air (drugs) additives. I drive it this way everyday.

Mike,

Absolutely OUTSTANDING... :D:D:D:D that is a one heck of a great effort...come on guys, belly up to the dyno...

You KNOW you're going to get 5 million PM's now don't you... . ;);)

Can you quote some RPM's and stuff for us... . ??

Padre Bob.

Thanks, Bob. I just made another run after a small adjustment and made 404hp & 877lb/ft. :D Boost is at 46psi with the HX40 and wastegated 16cm housing. On the dyno temps get up to 1225*, but will still get pretty hot on the street. Max hp is at 2400 rpm, and max torque at 2250rpm.

Absolutely FantasticOo. Oo. Oo. . I will be making a run up to Monroe WA sometime before the middle of July to run my'93 on Lennys Dyno - hope to see you there. Even though there's more in my set up I just wanted to crack 300hp and then sit back and enjoy for a while. ;) ;) ;)

Bob

Right on Mike,

Outstanding numbers. You've been pretty quiet lately so I knew you were up to something. ;)

Got to love those 40's hey.

What was up with the bully dog event's numbers ????

You will have to come up soon, now that you are closer.

Again, Great job. Oo.

Mark

Thanks guys.

Bob - I'm looking forward to seeing your dyno run. I'll be there.

Mark - Yeah, the 40 is great. Could still use a little more air though. I would like to come up and check out the new place when I get a chance. I have just been WAY to busy. As for the Bully Dog dyno numbers, I'm not sure. I heard that the dyno was calibrated that morning. I made more power than I thought I would, while others seemed to have slightly lower power.

Mike

Mike,

For what it's worth I was within 1hp of what I dynoed the week before on a dynojet here locally. Lon was within 6hp of his run here as well.

Great Job by the way

Nathan

Way to go , Mike!! I guess that will have to be 'MR. SPUD BOY' from now on.

BUT,, you will have to take a 10rwhp loss because of the sloppy door hindges.

We don' need no stinking 2nd gen!!!

I am so happy for you!

 Now I need more power.

Not really, but it's fun to think about.

Congrats on some great numbers.

Hey Mark... ... ... How's your new engine coming?

I't should be ready sometime in Sept. Still waiting on a couple of custom made parts and then I will put it together, break it in and see if a fluid coupling transmission will hold/lay down some power?

I might be crazy to try fluid coupling only but the way I look at it, its one less thing to go wrong. 1st gen transmission's have solid shafts in them, so the shafts should hold some power. Just not sure how much power loss will happen by fluid coupling only?

Mark

Ahhhh raspberry to that... ... . ;) you're just trying to keep from getting jettisoned out the "it ain't 1st Gen no more" door... . :D:D

Friar Bob.

ps: do you know what they use to lock doors in a monastery???

... ... ?? ... ... 'MonKeys'... ... :p :p
