Funny, well not really, that you should mention the wheel studs,... . After a trip home from Indiana, I left the house and 4 miles later broke EVERY stud off the pass. side. #@$%! Luckly it didn't fall to the ground, but I read through the wheel stud book with the local parts man and found some 9/16" studs. And now that I am paronid, they have been checked with the torque wrench multiple times. I think that when we replaced the ones in Indiana, we got a little gap b/w the rotor and hub that never closed up. Everybody says that it could of been worse, but it was bad enough. Did I mention that this was on Sunday afternoon? #@$%!

Great job on the conversion Chris!!! Defiantly makes me want to get mine repainted. A friend of mine had all of his bust off of the the right front, it appeared to be stress related from being over tightened and hauling his snowplow around.

again, great job i also had all 8 studs on my7 front left shear but i attribute it to the plow and having a chevy wheel on the truck that wouldent seat right on the hub, glad it turned out so nice now i just gotta get off my but and work on mine

SWEEEEEET Chris!! That looks awesome. I really wanted to come over and see the progress, but I changed my plans. I'm sticking with 2wd for now and will just go with wider rims and tires out back and let some weight and the sure-grip push me through. I get 24mpg on the highway and my buddies tell me that if I "F" with it, they'll slap me silly. Since I'm already silly enough, I'll leave mine alone and just sit back and admire your awesome work. GREAT JOB!!!

Andy, I was wondering if you had scrapped plans for a conversion. I don't think that I'd slap you silly like your buddies, but if your gettin' 24mpgs, I say leave it alone! Seriously though, I don't think that I would ever attempt another one of these, well unless its a crew... ...
