I am really enjoying this turbo!!!!!

Driving normally there isn't big change from the PDR HX-40. The boost comes on like arocket taking off making it easy to speed with.

With two tanks of fuel since it was broke in it looks like the MPG are better and I haven't gotten used to the power as of yet.
I towed my brother in laws back hoe this week over a windy 8 1/2% grade and it handled it well, I had to run at a higher RPM to keep the EGTs in check. If the hill wasn't so windy I could have ran in 4th but to keep the rs up it would have been way too fast for this hill. I believe it will tow my smallish TT(6800lbs) just fine at freeway speeds.
I have moved my #0 plate back . 060 for now waiting for Piers to get his waste gate system done. I can now put the peddle to the metal in all gears and not exceed 56 PSI. To nite on the way home I saw 54 PSI in 5th from 75-100 MPH and between 1350-1400 EGTs on one strait piece of road. Before I could get past 7/8 throttle before hitting 56PSI
Even with the plate moved back it has way more HP (SOP).
It sounds cool even at an idle there is a slight boost wistle through the Scotty 2 and under full boost it has a lot lower noise than the HX-40 did, there is a lot of air moving and I think it's sucking the noise back into itself.
I have found a new way to wake myself up in the morning caffine isn't required, A blast down the on ramp gets the heart a thumping!!!!!!!
I could go on for even but I leave it at this ever since install Piers latest creation I have had this smile that won't go away
Steve (HebeRam) drove my truck to day he can also tell you some about it.
