I did a quick look at that web site. First thing I noticed is the total lack of wording referring to "T-Rex".



And, the testimonial is the same one that was on the T-Rex site when I last looked it... Except the phrase T-Rex has been replaced with "Kore".



There is something missing here that we don't know about yet.

KORE LLC is essentially the same as T. Rex Engineering, Inc. Same product line, same operating personnel, same shipping address, billing address, phone numbers etc. In addition, KORE warrants any part ever sold by T. Rex Engineeing up until Oct. 26, 2004.



These changes are effective immediately:



1. New corporate structure: KORE LLC is a Limited Liability Corporation that is owned and operated exclusively by Kent Kroeker.



2. All KORE parts are made in the USA by Americans. Bilstein shock shafts and some other Bilstein components still come from Germany - where they also know a little about Quality Assurance...



3. No more big delays after placing an order.



4. Total focus on Dodge trucks. No Ford.



5. Kent Kroeker will be more intimately involved with TDR.



6. The KORE Web site is going to change to reflect new products, new designs, and a new, lazer-sharp focus. www.koreperformance.com will contain vastly more information and, for the first time ever: a price list!!



Now, I know the big question is, "Why the change?"



Over that past few years, the name "T-Rex" has become increasingly ambiguous in the automotive aftermarket. At this time I think there are four other companies using iterations of the name.



In additon, due to certain internal corporate limitations, T. Rex Engineering failed to perform to my personal standards of excellence. Since our products have always been of the highest caliber, this issue was transparent to our clients. Nevertheless, without a dramatic transition, it was impossible for me to grow and refine T. Rex to reflect my vision.



Heavy capitalization of KORE has permitted new levels of purchasing, production and efficiency. All of this translates into better customer service, lower prices on high-demand items such as leveling-kits, higher quality components, a growing network of retailers, and much faster filling of direct orders (an issue that has been a thorn in my side for two years!).



This new capitalization permits KORE to maintain approximately ten times more inventory, so you no longer have to wait weeks for the UPS guy to deliver your parts!



I hope this answers any questions and clears up any misconceptions.

Don't know about the price on the Bilstein 5100's, if it went up? Oh well, I'll bet to the guys that have it and know how it performs could care less about a couple hundred bucks.

Please don't be confused.



On paper T. Rex Engineering Inc. is a different business entity than KORE LLC; that's all. Technically, T. Rex Engineering Inc. still exists, but with a different location and operating personnel. In the future, T. Rex Engineering Inc. may evolve into something again.



I just wanted to make it extremely clear that if T. Rex Engineering does attempt to do business in the United States, Kent Kroeker is not, by the farthest stretch of the imagination, associated with that entity or what it may become.



KORE has no affiliation with that company except that Kore will provide continued customer service and warrant any part sold by T. Rex Engineering up until 26 October, 2004. Essentially, that means KORE will care for all former T. Rex Engineering customers.



All the items mentioned in my previous post remain true - KORE has the same operating personnel and contact information.



Expect some www.koreperformance.com Web site updates right away. Use your refresh button to update existing pages that reflect new products and information.



It's business as usual for KORE.

T-Rex is now KORE.....



There is still a t-rex but it has nothing to do with the customer service or support we are used to. It is an off shoot of an already thriving suspension company, using a name that they have truly not earned. It just seems to me that the Kroekers are keeping things the way they always were. Just improving the buying ability and productivity of KORE. You will no longer have to wait for the buildup of a system. Nice!!! Shipped the same day as ordered. Nice!!! Same staff, with the nice lady answering the phone,(secretary?) and all the rad suspension we came to know from the old trex(KORE). It is a better thing for us the consumer to have things streamlined and bettered. I know from personal expierence, Quality control is # 1 with Kent. Now he can have a hands on "yes or no" on everything KORE. He is now the CEO, President, and is still the suspension GURU!!!! You rule dude!! Best wishes!

That clears it up. I was kindof getting the hint but, didn't wanna stir up a false idea. The couple hundred $ increase is a nice trade off for the suspension being shipped out same day you order it. I waited nearly 8 wks. when I ordered it from T. Rex a while back.
