I finally graduated from college tonight. Got my degree in Diesel Power and some AAS degree, in case I decide I wanna go back to school to be a doctor or something. Now I get to join the ranks of the full time worker. Yippee

Where'd you graduate from? I see you live in Iowa, I went to ISU for one semester, and decided it was WAY too far from home. Now I'm getting an AAS in Diesel Tech from SUNY Cobleskill in NY. It's a lot better.

God save us from PHD's (piled higher and deeper)!! Worked most of my life as an engineering tech and most of them could not get the shoes on the right foot!!

i never got a degree when i was in college [my course never offered the opprunity to earn one]



but in 3 days, i go back to school for 8 weeks for my level3 apprentice HD mechanic... so in 10 weeks, i should have my heavy equipment mechanic licence... then maybe i will try and get into the industrial electrical apprentice program... [can't apprentice for that at my current job though... i can't switch trades from mechanical to electrical there. . union says it can't be done]

I put that up in my office and some young 1st Lt going off to pilot training saw it and got upset - said it was insulting. I looked at him and smiled. He didn't like that, either.
