Fellers -
I've got a 5'er with the toilet overhead light, and bedroom (in the 5th wheel area) lights not working. Other lights in the bathroom work just fine. Just the toilet light doesn't work.
I've replaced every fuse (even the ones that obvisiouly have nothing to do with the culprit lights) because the non-working lights are somewhat grouped leading me to think 'fuse. ' I've reset all breakers. Well ... I've reset those breakers, and replaced those fuses that I'm aware of. There is a fuse for 'front lights,' which seems to be the fuse that would fix the problem (one of the few I've replaced). I've pulled the non-working bulbs out and put them in working sockets and the bulbs work. The 110V outlets in the bedroom and bathroom work. I would suspect so, they are not related to the 12V lights that are not working.
I can't figure this out. I did notice these bulbs not working before I put the camper away for the winter, back in October. But figgered I'd replace the burnt fuse this spring (now). And just before noticing that the lights weren't working (back in October), I was fartin' around with the connector to the truck (not on the truck), jumping pins 1 & 7 (I think it was) to run the camper's outside clearance lights. It seems like the inside lights quit working at that time, but the outside lights still work and all fuses (that I've found) are good/freshly replaced.
Somebody help me out here. I'm about to go nuts trying to figure it out. My last thought is that maybe these lights are daisy chained and one faulty bulb may cause the rest not to work (like Christmas Tree lights). But that doesn't make sense either, but I'm no expert. I'll pull the bulbs back out and check them all again.
Any suggestions you guys may have would be a great help.
Thanks!
