For kicks, I wound up looking for ultra wheels, and sure enough, they're still around and looks like they still make the wheel I think that looks like.

Awesome truck! There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss my 89. Stiff riding no Ac, sounded like the garbage man in the morning... By far the best friend/ truck I ever owned. Sure the 13 I own now is nice smoother quieter stronger.... But it has nothing over that rough around the edges 89. Best of luck with it, I'd sleepin it to make sure one of us die hard fans don't stop over and "borrow it"...Lol

1st potential buyer

My first Dodge/Cummins was an ordered, 1993 W350 SRW chassis cab 5-speed that I had a custom flatbed put on. Sold it sooner than I should have to buy a '95. My current 2014 2500 6-speed G56 has been a great truck so far and I love driving it...but there is a side of me that still thinks about a first gen. 5-speed regular cab (though I know they are not even in the same league).

As long as I don't blow all my money buying a vintage travel trailer in the next couple months, I'm interested in this W350 if/when you decide to sell it. I'm not too far away here in Nevada, and have family in the San Joaquin Valley. Let me know. I need another truck like the preverbal hole, but...

I don't doubt the original owner's statement that the wheels were on the truck when he bought it new... But I don't think they are 'factory OE', possibly added by the dealer for dress up to sell it, like dealers still do?

For performance and practicality I prefer aluminum wheels, but I sure like the look of the old steel wheels with big hub caps like I had on my '93.

Sad to say but I sold the truck today to a friend of mine. I took a hard look and really entertained selling my sought after 2001 BMW 325it, 5 speed wagon and keeping the W350. I loved driving the truck around town with its unique clatter from the greatest engine ever built. So I thank you guys for the info you freely gave. Chris
