My first DTT I had installed at J and H. It never shifted right. I talked to joel about this before I left his shop. I was told that he could spend all day fine tuning the vb and time is money. He then told me that it was as good as could be expected from a 12v. It did what you call a stack shift. It would shift from 1 to 2 fine then 3rd right after. At this time both Joel and Harvey knew I was unhappy Joel didn't seem to care. Harvey seemed to feel bad. Harvey gave me a discount on a intake that I had looked at while I was there to smooth things over. I had got the impression that that was all he could do becouse Joel was the transmission builder and he was done working on my truck. I had posted before my install about going up to get my new trans. After my install I posted nothing for a long time. I didn't want to put any bad press on DTT. I also felt embarrased for DTT. I knew that my problems was not with DTT but with J and H. I also didn't badmouth J and H because I couldn't risk any recourse if I had a warranty problem. I have PMed many people that are looking at J and H but have said nothing public before. About 9 months later my 24v needed a trans. So for this one I went all the way to DTT. I towed my 24v with my 12v passing right thought Redding to Canida. While at DTT I talked to them about my J and H experience. They also checked out my 12v and agreeded that it had problems. So while I was there they also fixed it. J and H made me feel like a number that they needed to push thought there shop fast. While at DTT I was made to feel Like I could stay as long as it took to make things right. I have been very happy with my 2 DTT's but only becouse I had Bill and all the DTT staff to stand behind me.

Well, I guess the truth will set you free.

People with problems are afraid to comment for fear of not getting service done if needed.

Wonder how many more are keeping quiet.

Sorry Steve to hear your troubles started before it left the shop.

And it was a fixable problem.

Just got to get the right people to work on it.

Glad to see you were treated better by DTT.

I know I sure was.

Hard lesson to learn.
