Competition launching with a G56?

Well I just got back from Redding, It was hot as H$LL. The truck didn't run so well but It was alot of fun! It was nice meeting up with all you guys there. The Strip was great, the truck hooked good. As for the track, well after they got some water on it, it was good. All and All, it was a good weekend. Long ***** drive but a good weekend.

We had a great weekend... even though we didn't participate in any of the events. Dodge made a great showing in participation! My son Eric was really excited about seeing Scott's Big Bad Dodge run down the track. And even though Scott was having some trouble getting her re-started, he took the time to let Eric sit in the drivers seat for a couple photos. Way cool!

Mark, way to start him young :D

Yes it was a great time, very hot but we made it with a slight sun burn. Great event look forward to attending next year.

I will see if I can get the results from the Harvey this week and post them here. Several folks took video as well.

yea good turn out of people and trucks---congrats to all the winners---was good to meet new people and hook up with old friends----chris

I just wanted to add... As mentioned, Dodge made a great showing! The Duramax's that participated where all fairly quick and those Allison transmissions seemed to shift real nice, the Fords really didn't show up until later in the morning... the Dodge boys must of kept them out too late the night before :-laf I don't remember seeing any particulary quick Powerstokes though??? ;) A couple of dodges appeared to have broke their transmissions... one even had paper plates on it still  And plenty of 12 seconds runs all day long! Oo.

I had a blast... Was great to meet you Scott your rig is better watched live then on video. We had a great drive from Seattle to Redding.

And if you missed it the best race of the day was the Snap-on tool truck and the Matco tool truck... YEE HAWW. .

I don't care who you are there is just something about a truck that can shoot snoot 300' in the air. . Then it just leaves you speachless... :--)

Jim

Congrats to all the winners, and a HUGE THANKS to Scott, for the trailer spare. It could have been a really late night if you did'nt stop to help me out, I owe you big time Scott.

Tom, no problemo, I have been in that position before on a sunday no less, knowing everything is closed. I asume you all made it the rest of the way with no further issues?

Oh come on! Just because he trailered it from Red Bluff to some parking lot outside, then drove it in to the event area... . :-laf :-laf :-laf It didn't even have a front drive shaft or rear shocks... Oh well we all know how unfinished projects go. ;)

Those things are a dime a dozen down here in So Cal. Can't even take it off-roading or anything, needs to be put back on the show truck only band wagon, especially with no front driveshaft. :-laf

It's all about Scott's beautiful cloud, now that is something to show for. Quality engineered truck put to proper use. :D
