jacob break whistle

Going to Myrtle Beach i devolped a whistle when the brake is on and hot or operation temps. I called pacbrake and said could be gasket leaking. Has anyone else have this problem. Thanks Ron

sure sounds like a leak. can you hear the whistle when the engine is idling with the brake on? if so, some soapy water in a spray bottle could find it well...

I just bought and installed the Jacobs E-brake, Install went very well and works good. Uses a pin on the ECM to "see" when your throttle is at idle so no micro switches. Paid $620 for a truck dealer to get it from cummins and saved $55 in doing it.
