Mine will not turn off sometimes when I hit the go-go pedal, usually on anytime I'm driving, seems to turn off when I hit the clutch pedal though. Any one know which wires i should be looking at to cure this? See two wires that are tied into the engine's computer, I am thinking that maybe one of these are possibly not making a good connection, am I right? Carlton Bale where are you !!!??

One wire at the computer goes to the dash switch... that wire goes through the switch and goes to ground... when the switch is on the computer sees a ground circuit and knows to turn on the exhaust brake at the required time... .

The other terminal works a relay that provides power to the solenoid that applies vacuum to the cylinder... the power from the computer doesn't have enought amperage capacity to power the solenoid directly so a relay is used... low power to trip the relay and the relay turns on the solenoid...

My guess is that your solenoid has some dirt in it and won't allow the cylinder on the brake to exhaust when needed... . take the solenoid apart and clean it... If that doesn't solve it replace it...

If you loose either connection at the computer the brake will not function... not stick on... it just won't come on...
