Have an 01 6 speed and am installing exhaust brake.

Could someone give me pointers on connecting to pin 20

of ECM without removing fuel filter.

Just remove the bolts holding the fuel filter on and it will lay back and out of the way towards the drivers side fender liner. Now you should be able to get at the ECM. When inserting the "red wire" into pin 20 on the ECM be sure it goes in until the insulation is well into the hole (there should also be a slight click). Finally, make sure that your E-Brake wire has a drip loop. In otherwords, run the wire downward below the ECM for a couple inches and then back upward to your dashboard. If moisture or liquid ever splashes on the wire, it will slide down and off of the loop rather than into the ECM where things will corrode. Have fun with your new toy. I commute daily over winding mountain roads [fast] and now have 80,000-miles on the original brakes due to the E-Brake.
