CAW440 - hope to see you there!

Hey, Dick. I noticed a couple of new members replied to a previous thread expressing interest in attending. It was Bob Weis 'rweis' and Mark Gonske 'mgonske'. Is there a way you can add these guys to your e-mail list as well?

Bob and Mark - Welcome, and I hope you guys can make it to this months meeting. I know I learn something new every time!

sslechta: Thanks! Dick already PM'd me about adding me to the e-mail list. I plan to be there if I can avoid work that day (I already put one of my coworkers on notice that I'll be looking for that day off).

And hey--I'll have a 2003 there you can look at :D

I'll be there, it's on the calendar, looking forward to it.

I'm a newby at this , but having 1 ton of fun for sure.

Just wanted to get this moved back to the top, come on folks lets have some more responses and have a good turn out.

update

Just wanted to remind everyone. Please donot park in front of the dealership sales area. Try and park on the west side or in back of service building.

Hope to see. Oo.

I went to the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa on Saturday, and Cummins Southestern Power had a big display there. It included cards advertising free :D dynamometer checks, and they confirmed that their Orlando location also had a new dyno. I'll bring the info along next saturday (if I can stay away from work that day).

Directions from Vero Beach

If I can get out of work and thaw out I will try to make it to the meeting. Quicky directions from Vero would be a help. Can you say "space heaters"? BTW, I have not yet installed the Power-lok and Emjay controller, but I can bring the controller along for show and tell, as it is the subject of another round of ATS vs. DTT battling.

meeting info.

Had a good meeting with Gary, the Service manager, Richard, Master Auto Technician, along with Steve, Master Technician. Each had something to offer. The first subject was oil filters, I know this subject has been around for a long. This was for everyone that has someone else change their oil and filter. We were given a bulletin about what DC considers a warranty issue. Overall a good discussion covering everthing And some neat trucks.

We sure missed those that didn't make the meeting. Maybe next time.

It was great to meet everybody, and exchange some good information. I'm looking forward to our next get-together.

Mark

I had a WONDERFUL time. It is really great getting together and swaping truck stories, things we've done, things we're thinking about, different ways to do the same thing.

Definitely a sygenergistic meeting. It was also really great talking to the dealership about things from their perspective and what they consider important and the future.

Always fun to meet new folks.

As an aside: I'm continuing on moving my LP back to the frame rail. I got the bracket and the new -6 lines laid out. I plan on using the orgional pump but do the "user maintenance" before I actually install it in the new location. Now have the "fortitude" to do the LP because of the member that did it and it was a simple 45 minute job. For the next meeting I will make a parts list, take some pictures, and do a "show and tell" if any are interested.

I'll check today on the using our building space for the next meeting. We need to figuer out how often to meet, monthly, every other month, quarterly? Let me know when we want to do it so I can put it on the room reservation list. Or just meet the next one here at Webber and then rotate it to some other location for the one after that so we spread the drive distance around.

FUN TIME, looking forward to the next time.
