Ok where did the boob link go? I was going to send it to my son and dad who both missed it and it has gone awol. I for one though she has a beautiful boob. Strange how the first thing a kid gets when he/she is born is a boob in their mouth. Yet we're "shocked" at the sight of a boob and must protect our children from such filth. Whereas the former is a natural part of the human existence and survival factor, the recent episodes of sexual prominence in the Super Bowl has converted to the subject of moral appropriateness. There are folks who choose to see the human body a natural figure of beauty to which I must agree. If there was no attraction to the suppleness and curves of the opposite sex, then human life would theoretically cease to exist. The display of anatomies that happened at the Super Bowl by each of the sexes was evident to those in attendance at the game itself. How ironic that one that was glorified, monetized and then apologized went uncensored while a “boob” in an official’s uniform took center stage prior to a kick- off was not displayed on national television! Was money a factor? Miss Jackson drew muck jack from the incident while the unknown streaker might have to worry about “Jack” in the jail cell. We have the freedom to choose what is it is that we see in the privacy of our homes should we opt to do so. To have this uninvited display that was shown at half time, on be “half” of Miss Jackson was wrong. But not wrong because a breast was bared. It was wrong because it was brought upon without warning to those who might not choose to view it otherwise. They rightfully found it offensive. The rights of those who wish to see boobs should also be granted to those who find such displays offensive. To bare a breast is not wrong. It is a beautiful part of the human body. To bare it in an offending manner is wrong. You cannot have it both ways. This act did offend a certain populous; their rights were not taken into consideration. Albeit it fascinating, I believe that the titillation shown did cross the line insofar as to lower the standard as an American institution. But, am I shocked? No, it could, however, lower the libertarian held beliefs of freedom by those who were truly offended to their very souls should they wish to pursue this "offensiveness” to a limit. And that my fellow members, could lead to censorship which would be more devastating to the Founding beliefs of this country as a whole.

Lets see here. First I have to sit through a defensive first half and see forty or fifty comercials containing dogs biting men on the genitals, horses passing gas, causing fires, natural male enhancment, Viagra, evitra, enzyte, then watch several large black men grabbing their crotches and dry humping several scantly clad females while making leud comments in the form of music (if you can call it that). It then gets better and a boob gets shown for a split second. It was the only thing that offended me. How about you?

Har, what a cluster! I gave up on pro football back in '87 after the big strike, so I wasn't watching the game. But I heard plenty about it at work this morning, sounds like they put on a bizarre show.



No sense spanking on Janet Jackson, Justin, or the network - they are simply giving the people the kind of pap that they want to see. Everything that appears on the boob tube is there for a specific and calculated reason - to drive up viewing share and thereby increase ad sales revenue.



Kinda funny really - at least half of the men in America probably watched the Super Bowl, and apparently what they really want in the way of halftime entertainment is a bunch of guys groping themselves, spouting goofy confrontational rap lyrics, and dry humping their stage girls. At least that's what the networks conclude based on their poll data and Nielson ratings. Hmmmmm.

I agree with CF. I think all that crap could have been bypassed, done with out. I think that whole jackson family is so screwed up it doesn't know which way to go.



Lets get the superbowl back to the hometown of the team with the best record. That will keep those types of people back in their warmer climates. Do you think they would have tried that in Foxborough with ice pellets and snow coming down?



It's all money now, the sport is being lost. I'm glad I missed everything but the last 5 minutes.

Just a quick note:



My 4 grade son came home from school yesterday, and all they (the kids) talked about at school is seeing their first glimpse of a breast. My wife was peeved.



As I watched the half game show, I said to my wife "did I just see what I think I saw?" I wasn't paying much attention to it as I don't care for the hip-hop rap type stuff that was going on.

There is an animated version of Guliver's Travels that has a scene of a girl dancing and spinning around and her top opens up showing her breasts. Very subtle, but still very blatant. This is in a movie clearly aimed at small children.
