Decided to wait until Isspro come out with their new trick gauges (fixing the lighting problem) at the end of this year, so instead I ordered a 4" Jardine turbo back. This way I will get immediate Egt results ever though I am still driving blind.

Bob, good man! Let me know how the installation goes and what you think of the exhaust. Good thing to have if you plan to dyno with us. My next mod will be a 4" exhaust as well #ad

Any reason as to why you picked the Jardine system over say the Jannett or others. Is price , quality or other. Let us know how it turns out.

Vaughn,
Really wanted to get gauges, but really want to see the NEW Isspro before I make a decission. I agree with you that the exhaust would definately be a good idea for the dyno. Might be able to run on PE #3.

Mike,
I know that at first Jardine had some problems with their bolt on system. Lately I have read that this has been solved and many happy owners out there. First reason I decided on Jardine was because it bolted right on using existing hangers. Second, no to very little welding. Third, Jardine has been around since I was a kid, 20 some years with a great reputation. Fourth, TDR post from happy members. Fifth, cost and lifetime warranty. #ad

I just installed my Jardine last night in about 3 hours. Simple and straight forward.
The biggest helper is a sawsall cutter and some heavy pipe cutting blades. I chopped off the old system from the back forward and threw it in the garbage! Then started with the down pipe (bolt it all on loosly until you get the first two sections lined up under the truck and then tighten the top bracket at the turbo.
All of the clamps and hangers supplied were easily fitted and bolt up real nice.
The system is rock solid and sounds very nice, not to loud and a touch throatier too boot! I have not tested for the egt reduction yet but I,ll keep the posts comming.
Hov.

Appreciate your input! Our trucks are very similar except mine is a 5-speed. I have heard of problems in the past with Jardines system, your input and the same truck really easy my concerns. #ad

I also talk to Matt (at Jardine) this morning and he reassured me that those problems have been taken care of, that the kits are complete. Some of the other problems were because of the options he allowed as far a straight pipes being too loud and short mufflers that whistled. He only sell his system now with the 30" Custom made Magniflow muffler. #ad

I got a "Monster Tip" from Geno's to install on the end of the tail pipe to really set it off. #ad
