Mine is 12" long ... straight thru with plenty of drone to go around. Donaldson # M085171 muffler ... 40" long :--)

Jardine fits well. Be sure to get the SS band clamps at Napa.

Might want to wait and see if Jerry Jardine will have another Christmas sale. Last year was 425. 00 with 5" SS tip delivered.

The Jardine system is a snap to install. The hardest part is removng the stock exhaust. I used a sawz all and chopped it up to make for easy removal and disposal.

Here we go again.........

Yes mounting the muff forward will kill the drone. I had the Jardines on my heavy truck and added the resonator to kill the drone. Hated the sound, or lack thereof, so I got a Allied muffler from Rip and mounted it forward. No drone and truck sounds like a beast now.

On the 02 I mounted it forward right off the bat and no drone.

I had welded joints too. I just had Rip make me a straight piece with a flared end and cut into the system. Seeing the muff has two female ends it all just slid back together.

Just got it today ... what a trophy. :) My my that's a big one.

Interesting interior design ... straight thru with open chamber about 3/4 of the way back, then short section of 'straight thru' design. Very interesting ... can't wait to change out the 12"er.

This one's gonna take some doing to fit. :( The problem is the floorboard on the passengers side. If it's mounted right behind the muffler bracket, then it extends too far forward & won't clear the floorboard 'enough'. I think it'll rattle.

The hangar is attached to the frame & will have to move. It will fit if it is mounted back as far as you can. It appears that the muffler bracket is bolted to the frame ... hopefully.

By the way, this is 1 heavy mo'fo. It may just take 2 hangars.
