GPS questions...

I have some questions for you CJ guys out there with a Chevy motor. What did you do for the power steering pump, lines, and gear box? Did you convert to a Chevy Saginaw type, make custom lines, mount the AMC pump on the Chevy, or what?

Smoker, what year jeep are you doing the conversion to? The AMC jeeps used a GM (saginaw) gearbox and pump, so it should be no big deal. The p. s. lines should screw right in. The only problem may be that the '81 and newer jeeps used a metric line nut with a o-ring fitting (I believe). There are a lot of GM parts on the AMC jeeps, like steering columns, alternators, steering gearboxes and pumps-just to name a few that I'm aware of. :)
