Attention: TDR Forum Junkies While at the dealership getting old nellie repaired today (warranty vp-44 and lift pump issues) I had some time to kill so I took a new CTD 600 for a drive(I've driven one before-nice) and after that the salesman was showing me some stuff on his computer about the new Charger, police packages, and we're talking about the diesels they hope to put in the half-tons and durango types and he mentions the Jeep Liberty, just have one in stock with the diesel, let's take her for a spin! Man I like my son's Beatle TDI but I wanna tell you I have never been more impressed with a new vehicle since I got my new Roadrunner in '69. What a nice vehicle! This 2. 8 diesel goes like a v-8 mustang and steers like a sports car. Something like 29mpg highway and a towing capacity of 5000 pounds. Says they were only alotted 4 for the year. This is a nice rig and I had more room in there behind the wheel then my dodge. If I was in the market I'd be gettin one of them there fellas...
