Since our government bailed out Chrysler, they should never have let a foreign company buy it out.

Not to get caught in the fray, but I think the engine is made by the Italian firm VM MOTORI, and is turbocharged.

The only 6 speed in the near future for chrysler is a front wheel drive model. There are very strong indications that a new 5 speed will be out in the 07 or 08 model year.
