Will have to look for some of those "PURPLE woolly-buggers" : ) Was actually considering pulling out the remote controlled electric tugboat with the clothespin hanging off the back to give "$5. 00" rides out to the middle of the lake from the cabiin. . I get their line out there and then they give it a quick little tug & off the clothespin she goes. . Might have to consider trying some woolly's that way.

Well, about 800 miles into our 1500 mile trip - no more 237 so far, all is well - back using the original MAP that started it all... :D
Keeping those fingers crossed. .

Darkhorse, My, how interesting. That's the same thing that caused my codes also. Removed it and no more codes. That's with 2 different map sensors and using dielectric grease in the connectors. Also, that's the only boost module that has caused that to happen in my truck. It also happened out of the blue (parden the pun). Had not changed anything, it just started happening one day.

Not sure why yours fuels less without the harness, mine fueled hard right off the bottom and kept pulling. Not to worry though, Chip backs his stuff well, at east he has with me. Looks like we'll both be ordering new harnesses. Hope its not a trend.

I put the harness back in. The CEL & code are back too. They happen at random times with no apparent connection to how I'm driving. I sent an e-mail to Chip last night & he answered first thing this morning. Like you, he says that it should fuel hard right off with the green wire out of the circuit. He thinks the problem is in the MAP circuit in the box. I was instructed to send it back in for update &/or repair.

Will you guys look at my post "Codes/fuel pump pressure/" I'm getting a 237 also;but its associated with loss of fuel pressure. How long should it take to reset a code?

Chip had me return the box & harness for examination. The USPS took 15 days to deliver it to them but Blue Chip had it back in the mail the next day. The box was fine but something in the harness was amiss. The sent me a new one. No charge. :) No more codes & the extra fueling is a kick in the butt. Oo.
