The Navy still uses JP5 in shipboard applications due to it's high flashpoint. Shore stations USN and AF are using JP8. JP4 has virtually disappeared. AF tankers are pumping JP8 now vice JP4. Our jets that used to get JP4 from AF tankers were a problem to take into the hangar for maintenance due to the low flashpoint of JP4. JP8 also causes concerns, but not like JP4.
